A report said Apple’s first foldable iPhone model, the iPhone Ultra, has been delayed from an originally planned launch in fall 2026 to early 2027, citing hinge design and PCB manufacturing issues.
According to Jin10, an Apple official hotline technical advisor said the company has not received any information about the release of a foldable-screen product or its launch timing. The advisor added that media reports and online leaks are not necessarily accurate and do not represent Apple’s official position.
The advisor said that if supply-chain information had emerged about a month earlier—such as confirmation that prototypes were completed—then the product would be considered largely finalized.
