Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta will officially shut down on July 1, leaving about two weeks for users to withdraw assets and complete cross-chain transfers. According to Foresight News, QuickSwap, a native DEX in the Polygon ecosystem, cited the Polygon governance forum in outlining the shutdown timeline and user requirements.

Users must complete withdrawals and bridging before July 1, or funds stored in DeFi protocols may become unrecoverable. Only assets held in wallets that have not completed bridging will be automatically migrated to Ethereum L1 after the shutdown and made available for claiming through a dedicated interface.

Assets deposited in DeFi protocols such as QuickSwap will not be migrated automatically. Users are required to manually close positions and bridge their assets before July 1.

Any assets not claimed by December 31, 2027, will be treated as abandoned. The report said users can conduct cross-chain operations via ui.agglayer.dev.
