Crypto gaming studio Uncharted said it will cease operations, and its Web3 game Fishing Frenzy will be shut down after the team failed to find a suitable product-market fit aligned with its business. According to ChainCatcher, the game’s servers are scheduled to go offline at 2:00 a.m. UTC on June 25.
Uncharted has already disabled in-game trading for related tokens and gift packs. The studio said it plans to issue refunds and reallocate player assets based on a snapshot taken by the project.
