The Dutch prosecutor told the judge during the trial that Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev should be sentenced to 64 months in prison for money laundering. The prosecutor shared a detailed indictment before the trial, detailing Pertsev's use of the anonymous tool Tornado Cash to launder $1.2 billion worth of cryptocurrency. The indictment states that between July 9, 2019 and August 10, 2022, Pertsev "developed a habit of money laundering.". The court stated that the judge will make a judgment on May 14th.
