Iraq’s State Organization for Marketing of Oil said Iraq has asked Turkey to extend the Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline agreement by at least one year to allow more time to negotiate a new deal.
According to Jin10, the request was made by the head of Iraq’s national oil sales organization.
The official did not provide further details on the timing or terms of the proposed extension.
