U.S. crude oil inventories at the Cushing delivery hub are running low and nearing operational limits as ongoing conflict in the Middle East continues to disrupt global energy supplies.

According to Odaily, the Cushing site typically holds about 40 million barrels of oil and has a maximum storage capacity of up to 75 million barrels.

The latest data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed inventories in Cushing have fallen to 21.6 million barrels, slightly above an industry-cited operational warning level of about 20 million barrels.
