Polish President Karol Nawrocki said he has vetoed a cryptocurrency regulation bill for a third time because it did not incorporate comments he previously submitted. According to Odaily, Poland’s parliament passed the bill in May this year to regulate the cryptocurrency industry.
The bill was intended to implement the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), and Poland is required to complete related legislative approval before July.
Nawrocki has previously vetoed similar bills twice. He said he supports regulating the crypto industry, but added that the Polish government ignored most amendment proposals submitted by his office during the legislative process.
