Franklin Templeton: Bitcoin investment is still in its early stages

Jenny Johnson, chief executive of Franklin Templeton, believes that it is still in the early stages of the bitcoin investment cycle and that large institutional funds have not yet been fully deployed into the asset class. "This is really the first wave of early adopters and I think the next wave is larger institutions," Johnson said. Johnson pointed out that institutional interest will continue to grow as previously concerned investors and fund managers become more comfortable dealing with digital assets and the underlying technology.
