Ethena Labs plans to allocate $250 million to Securitize’s Tokenized AAA CLO Fund (STAC), which is available on Solana.

According to ChainCatcher, STAC was issued by Securitize in cooperation with Bank of New York Mellon and invests in U.S. dollar-denominated AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations.

The fund has about $102 million in assets under management, a seven-day annualized yield of about 2.42%, and a 0.3% management fee.

Ethena said the move is intended to expand collateral backing for USDe and USDtb from crypto-native positions to institutional-grade real-world assets. Ethena also said it is working with institutions including Janus Henderson to include its AAA CLO fund, JAAA, in USDe’s reserve portfolio.
