Aptos said it burned 187,800 APT tokens in May, permanently removing them from circulation.
According to ChainCatcher, the project said cumulative token burns have reached about 1.2 million APT since the mainnet launched.
Aptos also said its hard supply cap of 210 million APT is currently in effect. The team described the burn and supply cap framework as part of its tokenomics model intended to influence long-term supply structure and circulating supply.
