Light crude oil futures for July delivery fell $2.32 to settle at $87.71 a barrel at the close of trading.
According to Jin10, Brent crude oil futures for August delivery declined $2.72 to settle at $90.38 a barrel.
The July light crude contract posted a 2.58% drop, while the August Brent contract fell 2.92%.
