X head of product Nikita Bier publicly defended Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg after a new trailer for The Social Reckoning portrayed Meta as ignoring teen mental health. According to BeInCrypto, Sony released the trailer this week for the Aaron Sorkin sequel to The Social Network, due in theaters this fall, which dramatizes the Facebook Files and a whistleblower who leaks internal research that later drew regulators and US Senate scrutiny. Bier said Meta had multiple teams of $1m/yr engineers focused on teen mental health with authority to override major product decisions.
