Gold rose 1.95% and silver surged 4.13% today, while oil prices fell more than 5%. According to NS3.AI, the moves came as U.S. President Donald Trump canceled an airstrike on Iran scheduled for tonight.
WTI fell to $87.64 per barrel, and Brent fell to $89.10 per barrel.
Trump also said details on the time and place for signing an agreement would be released soon.
