Human Rights Foundation Grants 10 BTC to Global Project Driving Bitcoin Development

The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) announced at the Oslo Freedom Forum that a grant of 10 BTC, currently valued at $704,740 at the time of writing, to global projects driving the development of Bitcoin will be used for 13 different projects around the world. According to the press release, the funds will be used to advance education of people under authoritarian regimes, privacy and Lightning Network development, decentralized communications, and to provide more accessible financial freedom tools for non-profit organizations and human rights groups.
