World Cup-themed crypto tokens recorded $49.4 million in decentralized exchange turnover over the past 24 hours as the 2026 World Cup kicked off with Mexico vs. South Africa at Estadio Azteca. According to BeInCrypto, its screener tracks 93 tokens and found 34 launched within the past week, with Solana hosting 66 tokens and about $43.5 million of daily volume. BeInCrypto said whale trades were two-sided with a $28,400 net inflow, while Nansen data showed smart money and whale flows largely flat; it also flagged potential wash-trading signals in some thin-liquidity Solana pools.
