Oil prices could surge to $150 per barrel if the United States and Iran fully return to a hostile relationship, according to Jorge Leon, head of geopolitical analysis at Rystad Energy.
According to Odaily, Leon said it is too early to determine whether the current escalation marks a full resumption of hostilities or a dangerous but still manageable incident.
He added that until clearer evidence emerges—whether a ceasefire holds or diplomatic channels regain momentum—oil price volatility may remain elevated.
