According to Odaily, SK Hynix has asked these suppliers to submit supporting documentation so it can assess the price-hike requests.
Industry sources said it is more common for raw material and component suppliers to negotiate price increases due to significant cost fluctuations, while similar requests from equipment makers are less common.
