Marathon Digital: 616 bitcoins produced in May, increasing holdings to 17,857

Bitcoin miner Marathon Digital Holdings has released its May Bitcoin production and mining operations report. The number of blocks won increased by 32% month-on-month, from 129 blocks to 170, and the share of available miner rewards increased from 3.2% to 4.2%. 616 bitcoins were produced in May, a decrease of 27%. BTC holdings increased to 17,857 BTC; total cash and BTC reached $1.50 billion as of May 31, 2024,
