MNX, a decentralized futures exchange focused on the AI economy, has raised $6.4 million in funding from investors including Village Global, Cambrian, Relay Digital, and North Island Ventures. According to ChainCatcher, MNX plans to build AI-native derivatives infrastructure spanning futures tied to GPU rental prices and data center electricity costs, as well as markets linked to private AI lab valuations, AI benchmarks and financial forecasts, and AI-related global stock perpetual contracts.
The platform is designed to support leverage, portfolio margin, and batch auctions for execution. MNX said settlement will occur on MegaETH in a fully non-custodial manner, and it plans to launch its mainnet in summer.
