Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said the company would strongly consider repurchasing shares when its multiple of net asset value (mNAV) is below 1.0x. According to NS3.AI, Metaplanet’s basic mNAV is 0.72x, and the company holds 40,177 BTC worth $2.5 billion.
Gerovich said the comment should not be taken to mean that buybacks are happening now or at any specific time.
