Tencent Cloud and ASUS signed a strategic cooperation agreement on June 9 to jointly develop a “personal space drive” for laptop users, based on Tencent Cloud’s self-developed AgentBucket intelligent storage capabilities.
According to Jin10, the product is aimed at serving a user base at the million-laptop level.
Tencent Cloud said this marked the first large-scale commercial deployment of its enterprise-grade, scenario-based cloud storage capabilities through a leading PC brand. The company also said cloud storage is shifting from an optional PC add-on to infrastructure aligned with the AI PC trend.
