According to Odaily, the purchases were made by the account 0xc6a71cad90060abc0c1ff8ebd6f6a8fc02ed504e in the Polymarket event focused on predicting the 2026 World Cup champion.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is scheduled to open on June 11 at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City and will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The tournament will expand to 48 teams and include 104 matches, with the final set for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Odaily said the main title contenders include Spain, France, England, and defending champion Argentina, while traditional powers such as Brazil and Portugal are also considered competitive.
