Alex Finn 表示，AI 订阅模式即将终结。据Odaily星球日报报道，Claude Fable 5 将仅在 Anthropic 订阅服务中提供至 6 月 22 日，此后用户需按 token 使用量付费。
他称，前沿模型将不再包含在订阅服务中，订阅费用仅提供访问旧版、成本更低模型的权限，使用最新模型需为每个 token 付费。
Alex Finn 指出，此前 AI 订阅存在补贴机制，用户支付 200 美元月费可获得价值数千美元的 token 额度，AI 公司因此承受巨额亏损；随着投资者资金减少、IPO 临近，企业需实现盈利，补贴模式不可持续。
