CME FedWatch Shows High Odds of Fed Holding Rates Steady Through June and July

CME’s FedWatch tool showed a 98.2% probability that the Federal Reserve would keep interest rates unchanged through June, with a 1.8% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate cut. According to Jin10, the tool also showed an 85.8% probability that the Fed would keep rates unchanged through July, alongside a 12.6% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate hike and a 1.6% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate cut.
