The Stellar Development Foundation has unveiled a three-stage plan aimed at moving the Stellar network toward quantum-safe cryptography.
According to NS3.AI, the roadmap would allow enterprise wallets to begin migrating in 2026, while all accounts would be able to upgrade by the end of 2027 without needing to change addresses.
The plan does not fully resolve how to handle dormant accounts. The foundation noted that imposing a hard cutoff could freeze funds for holders who can no longer access their accounts.
