China's exports rose 19.4% year on year in May in U.S. dollar terms, beating market expectations for a 15% increase. According to Ming Pao, imports grew 27.4% year on year, above the market forecast of 26%, while the trade surplus came in at $105.43 billion versus expectations of a $92.3 billion surplus.
