CME FedWatch data showed a 98.1% probability that the Federal Reserve would keep interest rates unchanged by June, with a 1.9% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate cut.
According to Jin10, the same tool showed an 84.7% probability that the Fed would keep rates unchanged by July.
The data also indicated a 13.6% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate hike by July and a 1.6% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate cut by that time.
