Fintech startup Nium said it has raised $50 million in new funding from investors and plans an initial public offering within the next 18 months.
The round was led by an undisclosed South East Asia sovereign wealth fund and was backed by venture capital firms BOND, NewView Capital and Tribe Capital.
The company values Nium at $1.40 billion. That's 30% lower than the $2 billion valuation the company received when it last raised outside venture capital in 2022.
