AXA said it has launched an integrated wealth management platform targeting high-net-worth clients with assets of $10 million to $50 million. According to Ming Pao, AXA China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau and AXA Global Private CEO Yin Xuanhui said the group is confident about developing business under compliance requirements, noting its insurance operations are regulated and run on two platforms in Bermuda and Hong Kong.
She said the target clients include high-net-worth individuals and family offices across Asia, and added that clients still need insurance products for protection. Yin said Asia’s high-net-worth client base continues to grow and she expects the long-term impact from the mainland’s measures introduced last month to tighten personal overseas investment to be limited.
