FilOz, the Filecoin Ecosystem New Public Goods design and development team, has received a start-up grant from the Protocol Labs Filecoin Public Goods Fund, providing the FilOz team with three years of base funding. FilOz focuses on maintaining cyber security and coordinating regular upgrades, driving protocol R & D, Lotus implementation, and community development. FilOz priorities for 2024 include accelerating storage adoption, enhancing Filecoin utility through cross-chain interoperability, simplifying and reducing maintenance workloads, growing and coordinating the Filecoin community, and supporting the economic health of the Filecoin network.
