WTI crude oil futures rose 2.98% to $93.235 per barrel in early Asia-Pacific trading on Monday, while U.S. stock index futures declined.

According to Odaily, Dow Jones futures fell 0.46%, S&P 500 futures dropped 0.50%, and Nasdaq 100 futures slid 0.62%.

The report cited developments involving Israel, the United States, and Iran, saying Iran launched missiles at Israel again after a two-month pause following an April 8 ceasefire.

U.S. President Donald Trump said his advice to Iran was that missiles had already been launched and that the next step should be to return to the negotiating table and reach an agreement. Trump also said he would call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to tell him not to retaliate.
