According to Jin10, following Friday's blockbuster nonfarm payrolls (NFP) report, market expectations for a Fed rate hike this year surged sharply. Spot gold plunged, nearly wiping out all of its year-to-date gains and posting its fourth consecutive weekly decline. Silver broadly tracked gold but with greater volatility, ending the week down 9.85%. The US Dollar Index (DXY) surged past the 100 level, boosted by the stronger-than-expected NFP print. US tech stocks sold off sharply in the aftermath — the Dow Jones fell 1.35%, the S&P 500 dropped 2.65% (its largest single-day decline since October 2025), and the Nasdaq tumbled 4.18% (its worst single-day drop since April 2025).
Goldman Sachs noted that greed has clearly overtaken fear in the current market. Deutsche Bank warned that markets remain highly sensitive to any negative news involving Iran.

Beyond the macro data, the most closely watched event next week remains a potential SpaceX IPO. Under the current timeline, the deal could launch on Friday (Jun 12) — if it proceeds, it is expected to have a significant impact on overall market sentiment, though the direction remains uncertain.
In addition to SpaceX, Apple's WWDC, corporate earnings releases, and TSMC's May revenue figures could also serve as key market catalysts. US equity earnings activity is relatively light next week, but two major tech names — Oracle and Adobe — are set to report and will be in the spotlight.
