DFG founder and CEO James Wo said bitcoin has stronger institutional consensus and safe-haven recognition than ether, and rejected Bitmine Immersion Technologies Chairman Tom Lee’s prediction that ether will hit $250,000. Speaking at the Proof of Talk conference in Paris, according to CoinDesk, Wo said Ethereum’s value is diluted as activity and fees shift to Layer-2 networks and argued ether may not reach a new all-time high. Wo said bitcoin could correct to about $60,000-$62,000 and later peak around $125,000, with a new high in 2027 or 2028.
