StarkWare said Starknet v0.14.3 is scheduled to go live on mainnet this month, with a testnet release planned for June 9 and a mainnet release planned for June 22. According to Odaily, the update will add STRK-based dynamic adjustments to the Layer 2 gas base fee.
StarkWare said the release is also intended to increase block production speed and reduce the target Layer 2 gas consumption per block while keeping the maximum block size unchanged. The company added that RPC 0.8 will be deprecated.
StarkWare said the update includes significant changes and advised developers to review the pre-release notes to prepare for compatibility and upgrades.
