Google Reaches $8.25 Million Class Action Settlement Over Alleged Children's Data Collection

Google has agreed to an $8.25 million class action settlement over allegations that Google and AdMob collected personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

According to NS3.AI, the class includes U.S. residents under 13 who used a Google Play app at any time between April 1st, 2015, and the present.

The report said claims must be filed by September 14th.

A final approval hearing is scheduled for September 24th.
