SEC Division of Trading and Markets Director Jamie Selway said SEC Chair Paul Atkins has instructed the division to advance the development of a framework for the listing and trading of tokenized securities.
According to ChainCatcher, Selway made the remarks at the Piper Sandler Global Exchange and FinTech Conference, adding that the guiding principle is to support innovation without creating regulatory arbitrage.
