Hong Kong Gold Industry Group (02623.HK) issued a clarification announcement addressing an online article about the company’s 10-year development strategy plan.
According to Jin10, the company said the net profit target mentioned in the article was not based on any expected or estimated financial performance for any financial period, and it does not constitute a profit forecast under the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
The company added that achieving the net profit target is subject to a wide range of factors, some of which may be beyond the group’s control, and it said it cannot guarantee the target will be met.
