In terms of sub-circuits, the largest number and total amount of financing in May was the blockchain infrastructure track, which had 41 projects receiving a total of 498 million US dollars, but the total amount of financing of the track decreased by nearly 100 million US dollars from April; DeFi track and CeFi track maintained a certain increase in total financing.
From an institutional perspective, Animoca Brands, OKX Ventures, and Coinbase Ventures were the top three investment institutions in May, with Animoca Brands making a total of 9 investments, including 4 investments in blockchain infrastructure; OKX Ventures made a total of 5 investments, including 3 investments in blockchain infrastructure; Coinbase Ventures made a total of 4 investments, all of which were invested in blockchain infrastructure.
