S&P Global has announced that it will retain the 12-month seasoning period for newly listed companies aiming for inclusion in the S&P 500 index. According to NS3.AI, S&P Dow Jones Indices will not relax the profitability or public float requirements, regardless of a company's size. Consequently, SpaceX will not qualify for S&P 500 inclusion for at least one year following its initial public offering (IPO).
