According to Jin10, a regulatory filing on Friday revealed that SpaceX is now seeking to raise up to $2.5 billion from Japanese investors. Last week, when the local offering was announced, SpaceX aimed to raise up to $2 billion from Japanese investors. The filing shows that Japanese investors have been allocated between 14.8 million and 18.5 million Class A shares, with an initial pricing of $135 per share. The book-building for the Japanese offering began on Friday and will continue until late next week.
