A report by UK-based maritime analytics firm Windward on the 4th indicates that Iran's key oil export hub, Kharg Island, has resumed loading operations. According to Odaily, satellite images from June 2 show a very large crude carrier docked near the western offshore terminal of Kharg Island. This marks the first confirmed docking since the facility was shut down in early May due to a suspected oil spill. On June 3, the very large crude carrier at the western berth and a Panamax tanker at the eastern T-shaped terminal were both engaged in loading operations. By June 4, the very large crude carrier had completed loading and departed, while the Panamax tanker remained at the terminal. Windward noted that the simultaneous resumption of operations at both terminals indicates Iran's active efforts to restore its crude oil export capacity.

The report also highlighted that small speedboats of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps continue to operate frequently throughout the Strait of Hormuz. The ongoing high-intensity activity suggests that the Revolutionary Guard maintains a high state of readiness to support Iranian vessels in the strait.
