South Korea to Enforce AML Measures on Large Crypto Transfers

South Korea is set to implement anti-money laundering (AML) measures for virtual asset service providers handling cryptocurrency transfers of 10 million won or more. According to NS3.AI, these measures will apply to transactions involving overseas exchanges or personal wallets. The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) reportedly reached this decision following a meeting with exchange representatives yesterday.
