Jupiter has announced the launch of Jupiter Forecast, a prediction market aimed at market makers, marking it as the first fully native prediction market on Solana. According to ChainCatcher, Jupiter stated that Forecast will be integrated into Jup Predict, offering an additional liquidity model for better pricing and execution. Users will have the ability to purchase from multiple competing market makers rather than a single liquidity pool, with any Prop AMM able to quote on markets of interest. Users will automatically transact with the market maker offering the best price.
Jupiter emphasized its ongoing collaboration with Polymarket, noting that Forecast provides an additional type of market liquidity for users. Each market within Forecast will have its own native token to facilitate partner integration and enhance composability within the Solana ecosystem. Jupiter plans to initially focus on 15-minute crypto markets and expand from there.
