U.S. optical communication stocks experienced a decline in early trading, with Ciena leading the losses by dropping nearly 16% following its earnings report. According to Jin10, other companies in the sector also saw significant decreases, with POET Technologies falling close to 7%, Lumentum Holdings down nearly 6%, and both Marvell Technology and Nokia declining by over 5%. Corning also experienced a drop of more than 4%.
