Xinhua News Agency has announced plans to invest 1.12 billion yuan in the 'Xinhua Yudian' project. According to Odaily, the project aims to develop an authoritative AI political news platform, featuring intelligent Q&A, subscription push notifications, a knowledge base, and an AI marketplace. Of the total investment, 741 million yuan will come from reallocated funds, with the remainder covered by the company's own resources. The project is expected to have a static investment payback period of 4.17 years and an internal rate of return of 20.35%.
