China Rejects OECD Report on Industrial Subsidies Compliance
2026-06-04 05:34:23
The Ministry of Commerce has dismissed a recent report by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), asserting that its industrial subsidy policies adhere strictly to World Trade Organisation rules. The OECD report, released on Monday, indicated that government subsidies to industry have surged to their highest levels since the global financial crisis, largely due to China's contributions. The Ministry of Commerce urged the OECD to maintain objectivity and neutrality in its research and to refrain from politicizing or instrumentalizing its reports, according to RTHK.
