Cisco launches $1 billion global artificial intelligence investment fund

Cisco's Global Corporate Venture Capita unit on June 4 launched a $1 billion artificial intelligence investment fund to support the startup ecosystem and expand the development of artificial intelligence solutions. As part of the new artificial intelligence fund, Cisco will make strategic investments in companies such as Cohere, Mistral AI and Scale AI. To date, Cisco has taken nearly $200 million out of the $1 billion investment fund.
