Coinbase CEO calls on crypto community to vote anti-crypto politicians out

On June 4th, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong called for regulatory clarity for the cryptocurrency industry by supporting political candidates who support cryptocurrency and electing from office those with vested interests who oppose it. Armstrong outlined two main avenues for achieving regulatory clarity: creating new legal precedent laws through the courts, and passing new legislation through Congress. In response to the difficulties posed by the current political climate, Armstrong called for bipartisan efforts to elect candidates who support cryptocurrency and remove anti-cryptocurrency politicians. Armstrong emphasized that with digital assets that 52 million Americans, the cryptocurrency community is an important and diverse group of voters.
