Minmetals Resources: Proposed to raise HK $9 billion through rights issue

On June 4th, Minmetals Resources (01208.HK) Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced that the company intends to issue 3,465,432,486 rights shares through rights issue, raising approximately 9.079 billion HK dollars at the subscription price of HK $2.62 per rights issue share. The net proceeds from the rights issue will be used to repay existing debts, which will allow the company to use other funds to better support the continued development of the company's operating mines.
