Digital bank Monzo said in its annual financial results that its pre-tax profit for the 2023-2024 financial year totalled 15.40 million pounds (19.60 million dollars), turning a profit from a loss of 116.30 million pounds the previous year. Monzo's full-year revenue was 880 million pounds, up from 355.60 million pounds in 2022, representing a more than twofold increase.
Monzo, one of the UK's biggest digital banks, is valued at $5.20 billion this year thanks to an investment product launched in partnership with asset management giant BlackRock.
